Nastasia Fong, Senior Fellow at Coqual Global Lab
“Organizational effectiveness starts with seeing the whole system and understanding how every decision affects people, performance, and what comes next.”
Nastasia brings nearly a decade of experience spanning organizational development, people analytics, research, talent strategy, and organizational transformation. As an industrial-organizational psychologist, she helps leaders strengthen organizational effectiveness and build workplaces where people and businesses can thrive together. Her work applies an evidence-based lens to organizational design, change management, workforce planning, and people strategy, translating complex organizational challenges into practical, measurable solutions.
Her signature strength is connection: bringing together the many moving parts of an organization such as strategy, research, analytics, technology, and people, into cohesive execution plans that turn ambitious goals into measurable results. Throughout her career, Nastasia has served as a trusted advisor to leaders and partnered with executives across global enterprises, nonprofits, federal agencies, and private equity-backed organizations. She has worked across globally diverse workforces to transform organizational systems, strengthen leadership and talent practices, and create solutions designed to scale.
As a project, product, and change management professional, Nastasia brings the same systems-level thinking to execution. She has led cross-functional initiatives ranging from targeted interventions to enterprise-wide programs, guiding work from strategy through delivery while aligning matrixed teams, managing interdependencies, and creating accountability across each stage of execution.
Nastasia currently leads a talent analytics function, transforming complex workforce and talent data into decision-ready insights and compelling narratives for senior leaders. Her approach combines research rigor with product thinking. She has designed and delivered both internal and external-facing tools and solutions, translating business challenges and user needs into scalable, intuitive, and human-centered experiences.
She also brings practical expertise in the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the workplace. Nastasia has led AI-enabled analytics and talent initiatives while helping organizations approach emerging technologies thoughtfully and responsibly. Her experience includes conducting adverse-impact analyses to evaluate fairness, authoring and co-authoring AI policies, and helping establish governance frameworks and guardrails that promote transparency, equity, accountability, and trust. Across her work, she considers not only what organizations need today, but how the decisions, systems, and technologies they implement can remain equitable, sustainable, and scalable over time.
Outside of work, Nastasia is an avid traveler and is currently pursuing her recreational pilot license. She also enjoys exploring her creative side through pour painting, DIY projects, and other hands-on pursuits.
