Frances G. Laserson

Frances G. Laserson, Past President, The Moody's Foundation

Frances G. Laserson was, most recently, President of The Moody's Foundation, overseeing its charitable giving program and the community affairs and corporate social responsibility programs for Moody's Corporation. She was asked to create the foundation in 2001 and led the expansion of its programs globally. Previously she was Vice President, Corporate Communications, Moody's Corporation, responsible on the corporate level for the firm's public relations, media relations, employee communications, corporate branding and advertising. She is a member of Moody's Diversity Council. Laserson is a member of the board of directors of the Center for Talent Innovation and is a director also of Autism 360 and Prep for Prep. She is an active member of The Women's Forum of New York, the Clinton Global Initiative, Philanthropy New York CEO Roundtable, the Corporate Contributions Council and the Global Social Investing Council of the Conference Board. She completed her service as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of New York Downtown Hospital, with its 2013 merger into the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System. She is a past president of several nonprofit boards including the Public Relations Society: New York; The Brick Presbyterian Church of New York, Inc. and New York City Parents in Action. She is trustee emerita, Sweet Briar College and Kent Place School.
