Anna Fels, Psychiatrist and AuthorAnna Fels is a practicing psychiatrist and writer specializing in issues concerning women in the workplace. She is the author of Necessary Dreams: Ambition in Women's Changing Lives which was excerpted in the Harvard Business Review. She has been a speaker on topics concerning women's careers for numerous businesses including Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Time Warner, Ernst & Young, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and for organizations such as the World Bank. She also contributes articles on medical and psychiatric topics for publications including the science section of the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Times Book Review, the Times Literary Supplement (London), M.D. Magazine and The Nation. Dr. Fels is a graduate of Harvard University and Harvard Medical School. She is currently on the faculty of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center.
