Adam Quinton, Founder/CEO of Lucas Point Ventures

Adam Quinton is founder/CEO of Lucas Point Ventures and an active investor in and advisor to early stage tech startups. His investments include female founded and led companies The Muse, Glassbreakers, VenueBook, Rapt Media and Snaps as well as Pinks and Greens where he is on the Board. He is a member of and/or advisor to several groups supporting diversity in technology notably Project Include (where he is a founding member VC), techweek, Women's Startup Lab, MergeLane and Astia. Quinton has presented on diversity issues at major conferences including SXSW in Austin and Inspirefest in Dublin as well as to groups supporting women entre–preneurs such as SheWorx and Monarq in New York. In the not-for-profit space he is board member at International House New York and a member of their Executive Committee. Quinton has over 25 years of investing and management experience, most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he was most recently managing director and head of Global Macro Research. He was a top ranked sell side investment analyst in the UK, Asia and the U.S. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs where he is a Capstone workshop advisor and member of the Management faculty. He holds an MA in natural sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from Cass Business School, London.
