"Influence, visibility and credibility enable me to drive company and industry efforts around my passions. I lead diversity and inclusion at Weber Shandwick, a global communications firm. I am also president of New York Women in Communications Foundation, which cultivates young women we identify as potential industry leaders, vice president of PRSA Foundation, which works to increase racial diversity in the public relations industry, and on the advisory board of the Ron Brown Scholar Program, which provides scholarships to young African Americans of outstanding promise.

What inspires and drives me every day is the opportunity to open doors for women and under-represented people in the marketing communications industry. My influence has enabled me to activate industry-wide D&I efforts through creation of the Diversity Distinction in PR Awards and initiating a partnership with United Negro College Fund. It gives me the great joy of helping women in every stage of their careers navigate the changing communications landscape through scholarships, empowerment grants, educational and networking events and mentoring. Agency and influence allow me to weave the threads of my most deeply held personal beliefs and my professional commitments into a fabric that gets stronger every day and will continue to help level the playing field long after I'm gone."
